Khamis AlmerriCo-founder
Khamis Almerri is responsible for driving the Company’s business strategy. With 12 years of experience, Almerri has been actively engaged in a wide range of sectors, including: investment, banking, wealth management, manufacturing, tendering, strategic planning and business development. Almerri brings with him a highly technical leadership style that delivers quality, practical and innovative solutions to the business
Prior to founding Tendering Center, he also co-founded an F&B business and was a former partner in a medical supplies company. His wide-ranging professional experience, refined business acumen and solid local, regional and global professional networks have proven to be instrumental tools in leading the team and steering the Company forward.
Almerri has a degree in mechanical engineering from University of Toledo, Ohio, USA.
Dr. Waleed AlfulaijCo-founder
Dr. Waleed Alfulaij is responsible for operations and financial control. Alfulaij brings with him 10 years’ experience managing a chain of leading dental practices in Kuwait. Alfulaij has also founded a medical equipment and supplies company, as well as a contracting company. His extensive professional network spans across both the healthcare sector and the business world in Kuwait
Alfulaij holds a Doctor of dental surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth university and Masters degree from Tufts university as well as a Certificate in advanced dental education in Prosthodontics.
Dr. Anwar AlshuraianCo-founder
Dr. Anwar Alshuraian is an economics professor at Kuwait University (KU), and previously served as Chair of the Department of Economics at the University. Prior to joining Tendering Center, he held several roles at Alkuwaitiah Daily Newspaper as co-founder, former CEO, and former Chairman of the Board.
Alshuraian had also previously completed a proposal assignment as a member of the economics committee at Al Diwan Al Amiri, where he worked on new regulations for the Central Tenders Committee (CTC).
Alshriaan has earned his degree in Economics from University of Colorado at Boulder. He also holds two master degrees, master in Economics from University of Colorado at Boulder, and Master in Economics policy from University of Illinois at Urban-Champaign, and is actively engaged in activities related to his field both with government and private sector.
